PLC (Power Line Communication) is a communication method that uses power lines as a medium. By using power lines as a transmission medium, systems can be built quickly and at low cost. Communication data can be propagated through AC or DC power lines. The advantage of power line communication is the convenience and economy of using power lines as the transmission channel, the absence of additional fiber optic wiring, and the ability to communicate through walls.

PLC makes it possible to communicate in places where wireless communication is not possible and to reduce or eliminate cables. High data throughput is achieved by reducing or eliminating cable noise interference through OFDM modulation. High network security with AES encryption. Long distance direct communication up to 1 km or more narrowband PLC with lower line loss. Over frequency hopping technology for longer communication distances.
